Linens ‘n Things is Going Out of Business

LNT has failed to find a buyer for the company after they filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection last May. Liquidation already started last Thursday. This company employs around 17,500 people and was one of the largest purchasers of home furnishings in the U.S. as of dec. 31 but the sharp decline in the housing market has probably affected their business. I already say a “going out of business” sign at one of their branches here and also on their website.
