Summer Camps

Page_block_dscf4879-20071001-203245

Today I received the schedule of school activities for the rest of the month of June. They only have two full days left and the rest is half days. This is the first year my daughter went to school and she had loved school so much that she does not want to miss any day at all. I do not think she realizes yet what summer vacation is; that she will not be seeing her classmates and friends for two months.

Now that school is almost over, I have been looking for
Summer Camps available for her age group. I want her to keep busy this summer. Although the school has sent a program for summer reading activities but with summer camp it will be her chance to enjoy the outdoor with other children. I happened to go to yovia.com, a website where you can search kid’s events and activities, summer camps or day care that is available in your area or neighboring town. You just have to enter you zip code and a list of activities for different dates will show. This great not only for the kids but parents too; we now know where to bring our kids to have the fun during the summer season. I already have it bookmarked in my computer so that I can easily check what is going on in my area before heading out on weekends.

This is for moms like me who has a website. Let us all join the contest sponsored by yovia.com where we can win $1000. Here’s how it works. We embed the ParentsConnect widget on our website or blogs and anyone who gets the most number of visits or views wins the $1000. So let us all join. Who knows, one of us could be the lucky winner!

Wow, that's good that your daughter have loved going to school. She'd probably be very very sad when she realized that she won't be seeing her friends in school.
I used to be a camp counselor on one of my vacation weeks during the summer at Beulah Beach (a Christian camp of The Christian & Missionary Alliance in Vermilion, Ohio). It was always a blast! I went there as a kid too, but I even liked it better as a counselor. The Jr. High age was my favorite!

This pair of shorts is sexy with inseam around 2.5" to 3.0". The tag days semi-fitted but quite loose on the thighs because of the crossover side seams. It has a shaped hem, built-in brief and a reverse small pocket at the back for keys, coins or cash. Fabric is very light, soft and fast drying.
