Hubby sent money to her sister in the Philippines last Saturday as a birthday gift. I was surprised when he told me that he only paid $6.00 to remit $200. He has been paying $12.00 for years. I don’t know when they have lowered their rates but this is good. Competition has its advantages because with xoom.com you can send money to the Philippines for as low as $3.50 only.
