Data Plan For AT&T

I have been a blackberry user for almost three years but I did not sign up for any data plan, meaning, i don't use it for surfing. I can go online but since I don't have a plan I will be charged per kb. Come the time I have to upgrade my phone, I still got a smartphone but the difference now is that when you have a smartphone they require you to sign up for a data plan. And, with At&t, they got rid of the unlimited plan of $30/month. Either you get the $15/mo for 200 mb or $25/mo for 2GB (2048mb). So I signed up for the latter. After my first month of usage (I thought I will go over the 2gb) but to my surprise I only used up to 1 gb!!! I did not try to minimize my usage but I was not really into youtube and videos, if I was, I
still have 1gb left. So I guess, either or, I would still be fine.

I'm loving to be online anytime and I love my phone. It's not an iphone. Tell you about it next time.

When It's Fall and Almost Winter

About four weeks ago, my post is about beautiful fall colors. Now it is almost winter and all the leaves are gone....rotten to the ground. This is how it looks when you travel. Taken at Route 195 Interstate on our way to the Jackson Premium Outlet store. Next post would probably a snow covered highway.

It's That Time

The oil change warning light is on so you gotta do what you have to do. What i believe is that oil change should be done every 3000 miles but others say that with newer cars, it can go to more than 5000 miles. I don't have a standard rule for that. When I see the light is on, I know that it is time. Go to the quick oil change. It will only take 30 minutes at the most.

Black Friday Parking Mishap

As me and hubby were for a parking spot, we saw one van parked near a Honda Accord car, driver went out of his van suspiciously looking, kept looking around if somebody sees him then went around the accord and scratched the whole car. He hurriedly went back in his van and sped away. Hubby honked his horn but he was gone. We suspected a parking rage happened then this guy came back to make revenge.

Happy Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving To All!

What's Wrong With My Playstation 3?

I have a Playstation 3 so I bought the new Playstation Move bundle so that we can play Playstation move games ( like wii). It was fine and to connect the Move to the console was easy. The Playstation Move bundle came with 1 controller, a camera and 1 game (Sports Champion). We had fun playing. The pictures are clearer (HD) compared to the Wii.

The problem came when we tried to play again last night. When we switch the TV to hdmi 1 or 2 to play the playstation 3, it says that there no input device, etc.... then we saw a message "the hard drive is corrupt" then a message to restore. We did restore but it did not fix the problem. There is nothing in my hard drive, maybe some players information but games downloaded or saved, none. We use our playstation 3 more for blu ray movies. I don't know what to do now....just so frustrated. I'll try doing the "restore" in the next few days....hope a miracle happens!!!!

Fall Colors

Driving along New York thru way, you will see magnificent colors of trees during fall. These shots were taken two weeks earlier before you see the best colors. There are still a lot of greens but it was still beautiful. See you next season!

Skywatch Friday

I got a nice shot of Delta Airline plane making a descent at JFK Airport in New York. Where am i? I was watching the U.S. Open. at the nearby Tennis center in Queens, NY.
I miss Skywatch Friday. Click here for more entries. Happy weekend!

My Future Online Store

I have been selling goods on eBay for about a year now. It started when I was trying to get rid of some old junks from my basement then it became a hobby for me. To be honest, I made money out of it and I see that my listings grow every day. I now have regular customers that keep on coming back checking what I currently sell. Hubby is so supportive of my new venture and he is willing to help me in every way he could.

My current plan is to convert my eBay venture into an online store by building a website where my customers can go directly and shop. My husband can design the website for me but to get traffic is something that I need some help. I need SEO services to market my website and eventually increase my online sales. I know the competition is tough but I think I can make it with the proper seo tools and online marketing strategies.

I hope I will be full blast with my store come the holiday season. I am both excited and scared but with a lot of determination to succeed.

Mercedes In The Open

For how many years, Lexus has been one of the major sponsors at the U.S. Open. And, if you are driving a lexus, you get free parking ($18). As a sponsor, you get to display your newest models and let the tennis fans go inside the cars and have pictures taken. You feel their presence while you are watching The Open. For this year, the U.S. Open has a new sponsor – the Mercedes. You can’t miss it’s logo – it’s right there at the Net.

My Hubby's Jacket

About a month ago, I introduced to my husband the world of eBay. We have been looking for camouflaged field jackets and pants for cold weather and we cannot find them in any regular store. He needs thick clothing like this because he works outdoors during the winter time. So he went to eBay and found a lot of stuffs that he wanted and today we received a packaged of the items he bought from one seller. He had bought a desert camouflaged thick outer garment that can be worn in cold dry climate. It is a pre-owned item and the custom label still attached to the clothing. Almost all the preowned items we viewed online has still their custom labels attached so I just told my husband that we can probably take them out and wash the garments thoroughly before he wears them.

It is our first time to buy pre-owned items over the internet and I can say that you get good deals from it. The items that my husband bought are slightly used but to me they look brand new. If not for the missing tags, yo…

The Unpacking of The iMac

The iMac has a new home…our home.  We were all super excited to unpack our new computer right away.

The unpacking was a breeze. No big and heavy tower to lift from the box. No wires to attach. All you need is the power cord to turn on your iMac. The very slim and tiny keyboard, hi tech mouse and super clear monitor are wireless. That’s it….a monitor, keyboard and mouse then you are all set. Plug the computer and it will automatically search for available wireless network and in minutes you are surfing the net.

Just loving the iMac.

Goodbye Vaio, Hello iMac

As I have posted before, my old sony vaio desktop finally said goodbye, just died a peaceful death. It did not take a week before hubby made his final decision to get a new computer. So last Thursday, we went to best buy, I thought it’s just to check out some new models but my hubby’s mind was all set to get a new one. When he asked me if the student discount for Mac is offered at Best buy, I told him, maybe not..probably at the apple store. So off we went (walked) to the apple store, a walk from the best buy building to the mall where the apple store is takes probably five minutes (they both share the same parking). He just moved the car closer to the mall while me and daughter just walked. At the apple store, since we already know what we want, it only took 10 minutes and we are out of the store carrying this big box….

Skywatch Friday - The Rainbow

Driving on my way home today, I see a rainbow. Luckily, my purse was at reach that I can grab my camera to take a shot. Thanks for the traffic too, I was able to take a picture.
Have a nice weekend to all and happy Skywatch Friday.

I have good news for ladies who likes to pamper their skin with only the best and latest beauty products, Bottega Verde, Italy’s largest cosmetics brand is now here in the U.S. They are available locally in the U.S. and all their products can be purchased online at

Bottega Verde cosmetic is the no. 1 cosmetics brand in Italy with more than 6 million clients. They make beauty products containing natural active ingredients like shea, almond, aloe, honey, olive oil and a lot more. You can select products for your face, bath and body and even perfumes. This is ideal for women like me who wants to prevent signs of aging. I also like the Cherry Blossom Body Milk, a scented body lotion but leaves you…

Goodbye My Sony Vaio Desktop

After 10 years my Sony Vaio deskstop just stop working today. I bought this in 2000 Black Friday at Best Buy. Yes, I woke up early and be in line to avail the big sale after thanksgiving. This is the top of the line at that time with flat screen, dvd, cdw, etc. I never had major problems; had been infected by a virus several times but still up and running. The only upgrade i had was the hard drive to 160 gig then reload windows xp when i got a virus.

This morning when I woke up I saw vertical lines on the monitor. I turn and off several time but still the same. I tried putting another monitor thinking that maybe the monitor is bad but no luck. I just unplugged everything and put it away. Now I have my laptop on my computer desk with more room. For the whole 10 years, it cost me $100 per year for my ever reliable desktop.

Big Sale At Liz Claiborne Outlets

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Liz Claiborne New York Outlets. All opinions are 100% mine.

I would like to congratulate my husband’s tennis group for winning the tournament last Saturday. The tournament starts at 9 am so we left the house early and just had breakfast at the bagel shop along the parkway. We did not get to our destination until past 10 am. We got lost several times. We have a GPS
but it kept on leading to the wrong address. I was almost frustrated and just wanted to go home but it paid off when they won the tournament.

Since we are almost halfway to Atlantic City, New Jersey, we decided to go to the outlet stores in AC. I got an email that Liz Claiborne New York Outlet is having their entire inventory at a huge discount – Everything must go at 40% - 80% off!!! I told my husband that he can go around other stores while I did my
shopping at Liz Claiborne. I got very good deals on sweater, jackets and boots. I shop not only for my fall and winter cloth…

On My Way Home

I took this picture on my way home this evening. It was around 5:30 p.m. and ahead of me I see these dark clouds. Rain has started to fall but if I could just turn around and take a photo of the west side, it was still a bit sunny. Weird weather, right? I know there is a tornado warning (yes, we also get that here...very strong winds for about 10-15 minutes leaving a lot of damage) but I'm hoping we don't get that tonight. I'm still 20 minutes away from home hoping that I get home first before it starts pouring.

Happy Birthday Car

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Dual Electronics. All opinions are 100% mine.

My car just turned 8 years old this weekend! From the bottom of my heart, I am really thankful for my ever reliable car who never gave me problems and still running great. Although, it has little scratches, I could say that she is still a beauty. I really don’t have a name for my car but when I bought it, the most popular song that time was “My Boo” so I was calling her “my boo” for while.

So what did I do on my car’s 8th year? First, hubby brought her for inspection at the Motor Vehicles. I was surprised, they only do emission inspection and that’s it! DMV do not care about lights, wipers, dents, etc anymore. Even if, I know my car would pass the inspection with flying colors.

Here is another treat for her. I am going to order from Dual Electronics the latest mobile receiver they have called XDMA6630, a single in dash CD/MP3/WMA 240 watts receiver that has bluetooth technology and direct…

Yellow Monday

This is my entry for Mellow Yellow Monday. Hope its not too late still.

Kids Got My Makeup

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of BH Cosmetics. All opinions are 100% mine.

When kids are quiet, something must be going on. My instincts were right! I know they were busy with something that kept them from running around the house. It’s not normal to me.

Yesterday after I picked up my daughter from school, her cousin tag along with us since her mom cannot pick her up on time. When we got home, I gave them snack and they all went to my daughter’s bedroom. I was busy in the kitchen but I noticed that I do not hear any noise coming from the bedroom at all. Maybe they are doing their homework I said. I got curious because it’s almost an hour with no noise is not normal at all. Slowly I opened the door and I saw the girls with my makeup and eyeshadow on!!! How they got my BH cosmetics makeup, I don't know! Those are my favorite makeup especially the BH cosmetics eyeshadow that is highly pigmented and bendable with strong staying power. I used to buy my makeup at a l…

Citi Field

This is the Citi Field Stadium, the official home baseball park of the New York Mets. It is located in Flushing Meadows, Queens, New York. Citi Field, an $850 million ball park replaced the old Shea Stadium, completed in 2009. The first game held in this new stadium was last april 2009.

I took this photo on our way to the Billie Jean Tennis Center which is next to Citi Field. Citi Field's parking was used to accommodate tennis fans parking during the U.S. Open (when Mets is not playing).

Have A Fun Filled Day At Kissimmee

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Kissimmee Tourism. All opinions are 100% mine.

I have been to Florida twice already. We drove from New Jersey on both trips. The first one was a short two day stay with no chance to visit any of the theme parks around Orlando and Kissimmee but I saw why they call Florida as one of the best place to spend a holiday. Thus, my second trip to Florida was purely a vacation for me and my friends (I was still single that time). We were in Orlando for three days and the whole time was spent visiting all the theme parts plus Sea World. On our fourth night, we all moved to a hotel in Kissimmee, to explore the other side of Florida.
Kissimmee is another destination when you are in Florida. It is known as the heart of Florida and truly there are a lot of things to do in Kissimmee Florida not even for a fee. First, let us stroll around the Old Town.  It is a complex where you can dine, shop and have entertainment. It is nonstop entertainment at the…
